By accessing or using EchoInk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Subscription & Billing

EchoInk offers a free tier with limited usage (8,000 words per week) and a Pro plan ($9/month or $99/year) with unlimited usage. New accounts include a 30-day free trial of Pro features. Subscriptions are managed within the desktop application through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: Use the service for any illegal purposes; Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; Interfere with the service's operation; Reverse-engineer the application; Use automated means to exceed usage quotas; Share your account credentials with others.

Intellectual Property

The EchoInk application, website, and all related content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Your transcribed and processed text remains your property. You grant us a limited license to process your audio and text solely for providing our services.

Limitation of Liability

EchoInk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We do not guarantee the accuracy of transcriptions or AI-processed text.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@echoink.io. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
